Earlier, she served as special advisor to Mayor Giuliani and first assistant/senior adviser to NY Governor Pataki, respectively.  And, she is is a public speaker and an internationally known tournament poker player.

Previously, she was the first woman and youngest president of APCNY, youngest NAPC Board member, and, the youngest recipient of the Lifetime Industry Service Award from both personnel Associations. She also received NYS Senate Citation for contribution to modernization of placement fee law.
